Long Term Provisionals

As treatment plans evolve and individual patient situations vary, time can be a factor in determining what material best suits the needs of a case. In situations where extractions are required but implants are not ready to be placed, those extraction sites need time for tissue conditioning or pontic sites to heal

A long-term provisional requires a material that can be easily adjusted clinically, but still can hold up to months of possible wear. A ribbond-reinforced composite material allows for acrylic, milled composite, or flowable composite to be bonded to its framework in the way of aesthetic facings or full coverage contouring, and can be adjusted or repaired as needed.
